A skillful bowler who can bowl express pace, a hard-hitting lower-order batter and, an excellent fielder, Jofra Archer is a livewire and a fierce competitor on the field. Known for raw pace, Jofra made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals in 2018. He continued to play for the franchise for three years and perform impressively. In the 2020 edition, he picked up 20 wickets at an impressive strike rate of 16.70. He contributed impressively with the bat too in that edition with quick-fire finishes lower down the order which earned him the MVP award in that year. He was bought by Mumbai Indians in 2022 but injuries have forced him to stay in and out of action in the last 2-3 years. It will be a homecoming for the England fast bowler as he was picked up by Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025 for a whopping INR 12.50 Crore. With Jofra back, RR will look to build their pace attack around him and similarly for Jofra, he will look mark his IPL return into a sweet homecoming.
